The Bio Finca Las Tenerías, the Home of the Stars on Gran Canaria! The time has finally come for the shooting of the new Netflix film: “The Mother” has Jennifer Lopez, accompanied by Ben Affleck, first in our beautiful Barranco and now also as a guest at our organic finca. A little Guantanamo feeling was shot. The film is actually set in Cuba and the “desperate mother” Jennifer Lopez fights back her kidnapped children. After so much crawling through the dirt, the two deservedly made themselves comfortable in the Palomar 3.

We can only say that in the end all celebrities are just people who have to eat, like to drink and of course also appreciate a bit of luxury. The two certainly regretted having to leave, but filming is continuing elsewhere and so are the actors. The two seem to have particularly liked our jams, of which we are allowed to send 50 jars of mixed jams to the United States.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for allowing us to be a part of the filming and to act as hosts. Good luck with the new film and we look forward to seeing you again!

Still feel your energy, breathe your air and visit the Bio Finca? Yes, of course. On Saturday, March 19th and Sunday, March 20th, 2022 we will be there for you from 1 p.m. with our Finca Classics. On Saturday evening we still have a few places for our Noche de Tapas.

As always, we will go on a Finca tour with our new guests and will introduce you to the individual areas of the Finca. Our well loved ‘small animals’ tour is also new: chickens, ducks, geese and our black pig Paulinchen are waiting for your visit. Our baby ducks and chicks are always a special highlight, they are just too cute and all children – big and small – are happy when they are petted. After the Finca tour is over, in addition to the usual drinks, the bar also has freshly squeezed orange juice and smoothies ready for you.

We are starting to allow small dogs on the finca. If you can carry your dog to your table and it stays up, you are welcome at the terrace. If you dog is a big one, we have a nice place, were your dog can have a lovely experience watching the chickens, whilst your stay.
