We have our murder mystery dinner, that evening. This is a game night with friends – finally something different for New Year’s Eve.

However, it is of course also possible to participate in the menu without a murder mystery dinner.

The theme of our crime dinner this evening, participation is free of charge.

“Harmony among long-term campers?”, the furrows on the forehead of retired Colonel Siegfried Lilienfein deepen as he polishes a garden gnome. “That never happened.”

Shaking his head, Siegfried discovers a last speck of dust on his red cap, wipes it off and corrects the position of his dwarfs: standing in line, they look in the direction of the neighboring plot, ready for battle. There, Leonora is knitting a colorful woolen sweater while whistling happily and crookedly to Bob Marley songs. With completely opposite feelings, the two watch as the dandelion seeds of Leonora’s wild herb meadow rise into the freedom of the air – and then conquer the English lawn of the army officer like parachutists.

“We love this campsite and if it were up to me, everyone would live in harmony,” Irene adds as she joins them. But when Jenny snatched the plot by the lake from her, she should have acted. How did they get the parking space? “It must have been vitamin B. Or bribes.” Irene looks around for a moment, then whispers barely audibly: “Or hush money.”

Welcome to the campsite with all its lovable, bizarre permanent campers. A place with too little space for too many world views, where no one can escape observation and judgment.
